When we started Vira Sun in 2015, we didn’t have a long-term plan. To be honest, we were surprised when the company lasted a year. But it did, and then it just kept going. Before we knew it, five years had passed, and then we hit a decade. Time flies... But we’ve decided to let the sun set on Vira Sun.

Why say goodbye?

We’re a married couple who have been running Vira Sun together since day one with no additional help. We’ve both held full-time jobs the entire time and worked on Vira Sun at night, on weekends, holidays, and really whenever we had a spare moment. But we no longer have sufficient time or energy to dedicate to the brand, and phoning it in feels like a disservice to both our fans and us.

As of January 1, 2026, it’s with heavy hearts that we willingly pull the plug rather than watch Vira Sun wither and fade away.

THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us over the years! You helped us create a sense of community in this business, and we’re extremely fortunate to have made so many amazing friendships and memories along the way.

It’s been a wild ride and lots of fun, and we hope your VS shades bring you joy for many years to come!
